Qianmen Jianguo Hotel is popular with tourists for its very good location and value for money. Clean, spacious, carpeted rooms all with satellite TV and phones in the bathrooms. Staff are very busy and rushed. The Liyuan Theatre (p148) can be found to the right of the domed atrium at the back of the hotel.

    Nice hotel and English speaking staff a big bonus. Comfortable room, breakfast is good.
