The location looking over to Koh Phangan was great, and the nearby beach area was very nice, but too busy for us.

First off, the location in Cheong Mon is excellent, yes it is quiet, but this is exactly what we were looking for.

It is in a fantastic location, very peaceful and on a cliff overlooking the beach.

Don't pay more than 300baht for taxi from Chaweng homeat night.

Short trip to the main centre of Chewang Beach, resort offers free shuttles during the day and a reasonalbe 100BHT per person in the evening (we couldnt get back for less than 400BHT in a taxi).

这家酒店在位置上其实是很不方便的，在我入住酒店的时候是淡季，所以我住的价格是不能算便宜的，虽然酒店方面说打了很大的折扣，另外房间很陈旧.

The bedroom only has a large king bed and a plasma tv in the room, very minimal but it has almost 360 degree windows of the pool and garden and is well set out.

The room is large with a living room (very tastefully decorated), small kitchen, separate bedroom and a large size bathroom with a huge shower and a separate bathtub.

The lounge and bedroom are completely seperate rooms, with a king size bed that was probably the softest out of 3 hotels we visited (mind you, it was still pretty firm).

Buffet breakfast was a feast with a mix of thai and western food, restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly.

The restaurant is good, we had 2 meals there, very reasonable for a hotel but obviously much dearer than local restaurants.

Whilst in Chaweng we went to a restaurant called Sandies which is next to the 3 Monkeys bar a little less than halfway down the main drag.

The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but the buffet breakfast (included in our price of about 120 US / night) was incredible.

After getting situated in the room, we walked back to the lobby to utilize the common outdoor pool and fitness center, being much larger than the one in our room.

Lotus Pool Villa which I must say was really amazing, we had our own private pool & jacuzzi and the villa itself was really gorgeous.

For the couple of days over the wedding we moved into the Peninsula Pool Villa which was an amazing room with our own pool and spa.

Rooms are clean and nicely appointed - we stayed in a deluxe pavillion with an ocean view - very nice.

Staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the daily breakfast buffet is rich nice.

They think of everything here, and the rooms are topped up with fresh flowers regularly.
