Prescott Hotel San Francisco - 旧金山

It is located just off Union Square, making it a great location for business and leisure travellers.

The location can't be beat - you are close to the cable car lines and bus stops - I highly recommend the MUNI passes - get yourself a MUNI map too and it is so easy (and cheap) to get around the city.

The hotel location is good however - being right next to union square.

And the staff were helpful in getting me a flat-rate taxi to the airport.

From the moment we stopped the rental car to drop off the luggage and check in, to the time we left and needed a cab to the airport, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly.

When you stay in the club level you get to use the club lounge which had breakfast and a bar.

BUT, it's only a couple of blocks from Union Square, it's walking distance to a number of breakfast places and if you get a chance, have lunch at the restaurant.

Attached to swanky restaurant Postrio which has a reasonable and convenient bar menu.

In the afternoon there was an open bar with a bartender, cheese and crackers, and fine quality pizza from the Postrio restaurant next door (a Wolfgang Puck enterprise.

In all, we got a nice 4-star experience for 3-star price (qualified, perhaps, by the parking situation).

CONS: no high speed internet - but there is available wireless in the rooms.

We had a problem getting our wireless internet to work but we called down and they brought us a bridge which worked like a charm.
