The location was brilliant, very close to the ammneties of Birmingahm city centre and the train station.

The station is 10 minutes walk through the new Bull Ring.

Cheap hotel close to centre, easy access to all the main city stores and so takes around 10 minutes to walk to Victoria Square.

Having said that the huge comfy sofa's in the living room are just as comfy as the bed!

Our main gripe was the bedroom - the bed only just fit in so anyone sleeping on the far side from the door had to climb over to get out.

The apartment was well kitted out and a decent size for a one bed apartment.

The bedroom (despite a bedside lamp with no switch) was fine and the bed extremely comfortable.

The bed was comfy, and the set up of the apartments are good.

If you're wanting to eat in, go to the food court in House of Fraser and pick up some of their ready made meals - a doddle to heat in the microwave.

The Arcadian Centre is also a short walk away, offering Italian, Indian and other cuisines as well as night clubs and bars.

The kitchen is well equipped and continental breakfast boxes are available to buy from reception.

Although there isnt anywhere in the building where you can get food, like the other reviews say, there are plenty of places you can grab a bite to eat (highly recommend Milano in the Arcadian mmm)!

The location of the apartemnets were great for us as we all came by public transport, our stay was very comfortable and the reception staff were extremely helpful.

The only problem I had, was the booking I made, clearly checking that car parking was available and booking a space.

Prices do range with parking, £4 was the cheapest we saw and £15 the dearest.

Although clean, there were two lights in the apartment that didnt work (one didnt even have a lightbulb in) and for a fairly new building, there were a lot of scuff marks on the walls.
