Our stay at Pousada Forte Da was incredible! We were amazed by the unique combination of historical charm and modern luxury. The views from our room overlooking the marina and Pico Volcano were breathtaking. The staff was exceptionally polite and attentive, making our check-in process smooth and efficient. The pool area was a lovely spot to relax and soak up the sun. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable experience.

We were disappointed with the room, it did not have a very nice view, the windows were dirty and we had no balcony (though on website it did mention a balcony!). Airco too cold and could not be adjusted.

This hotel is located in a historic fort on the harbour, offering stunning views of the marina and beautiful beach. We enjoyed the excellent hotel facilities including the refreshing swimming pool, and found parking to be easy with spots available in front of the hotel. The staff provided a wonderful breakfast and were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel for a weekend getaway. This place is truly a hidden gem, located in a former fortress with a breathtaking view of the ocean. We were blown away by its central location, right in the heart of the harbor, overlooking the marina. It was amazing to wake up every morning and see the beautiful view of the sea and marina from our balcony.
