An easy walk to a boat dock. 5 mins on foot from restaurante dom mario where we had dinner. Set so close to Abraao Beach.

Rodrigo and his wife are wonderful persons. They were helpful and took care of everything. They shared advices with us on the best spots on Ilha Grande and the best food on the island. We were really glad to have met them! The breakfast was homemade and memorable! The location is fantastic, in the middle of the jungle next to a river, 5 minutes walk from the village!

The family that runst this pousada makes you feel at home immediately. Very friendly owner Rodrigo, with excellent advises on the best beaches and places to go. Key words: - clean, but simple rooms. - for backpackers and no nonsens travelers. (it's up the hill and in the jungle a bit, so leave your big trolley Samsonite at home!) - Good breakfast with home made bread, juce and cake - the prices are a bit high for the simple rooms you get - It's definatelly clean, but it's in the jungle, so: there'll always be ants joining you somewhere. - Very friendly hosts, a warm welcome family-feel pousada

The room was half above, and half under the ground, which makes it a bit mouldy if it had rained. And I think for the simple rooms you get, the price is quite stiff. But that's it.
