location: the hotel was so close to downtown "vila vicosa, all the museums and the ducal palace, and good restaurants. the breakfast was great and offered a great selection of delicious food.

I recently stayed at Pousada Convento De in Vila Vicosa for a weekend getaway. The hotel's location was excellent, right next to the Royal Palace, and the premises were beautifully restored. The breakfast provided was very good, and I highly recommend dining at their restaurant - the dinner was wonderful and offered great value for money. The ambience of the pousada was full of history, with a beautiful old building and interesting grounds. The staff also handled our pet request superbly.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

It was way too expencive for what you get. Not at all luxury / great comfort / excellent location!

Lovely location for an excellent stay. The hotel, a converted Convent, was a delight with modern facilities mixed with interesting architecture. The superior twin room was spacious and comfortable with a small balcony. Breakfast buffet had a good choice of dishes and can be enjoyed in the lovely patio. The pool area was well-used and surrounding areas offered sightseeing opportunities. I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed the cool pool and sipped on cold drinks at the main bar. My classic room had a nice touch with a private terrace for chilling out 🍹.

My superior queen room had modern conveniences, including a private safe, a minibar and a work desk. The staffs were hard-working & extremely helpful. The location was comfortable and simply perfect, you can visit Ermida de Sao Bento by walking. The hotel was in a fairly quiet area adjacent to a palace and monuments.

We had a stunning, upgraded room with a lovely view of the courtyard. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the town and its many historical places. The Pousada's rich history was well-preserved, making us feel like we had traveled back in time.

The dining experience left much to be desired. The dinner provided for our group was of poor quality, with limited choices and subpar dishes.

The stay here was really nice in the sweet town. The unit we got was nicely furnished and unique with a large balcony over the gardens, quiet ambience, for example.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I loved staying in this hotel with its convenient location right beside the Braganza palace. The staff were friendly and the facilities were great quality with easy parking. The hotel had a beautiful fireplace to relax by, and I enjoyed exploring the convent and its stunning gardens while staying here.

Location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Lots of nearby shops and restaurants. The balcony view was amazing, perfect for a romantic sunset dinner. The room was nicely decorated with antique-style furniture.

The shower was difficult to use, the water pressure was weak. The breakfast was subpar, with stale pastries and mediocre coffee.
