Overview

The Poseidon Hotel is conveniently located in one of the finest suburbs of Athens on the seafront of the commercial and business Paleo Falero. The property is wonderfully housed on the coastal avenue between Athens and Sounio, which is close to the modern marinas of Alimos and Flisvos as well as to several stores, banks and entertainment centres. In addition, you can easily reach the Academy of Athens, the Temple of Hephaestus in the central district of Thission, the Olympic Complex and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.

The 3-star construction was built in 1975 and recently completely renovated, comprising a total of 90 spacious rooms spread over 7 floors of which 79 are double rooms, 10 are single rooms and 1 is a suite.

All fashionable rooms feature high speed wireless internet access, satelite TV, radio, minibar, en suite bathroom with hairdryer, wakeup call, and room and laundry service. The venue accommodates social events for up to 300 persons and feature meeting halls for up to 250 persons with full audio - visual support, air-conditioning, darkening, microphone, amplifiers, screens, projectors, video VHS, TV, fax and photocopier. During the summer season the Hotel operates a fully organized beach providing facilities and amenities, such as umbrellas, sun beds, beach bar and a Greek tavern.

The Poseidon Hotel is one of the good quality hotels in Athens offering guests a convenient location and pleasurable tranquil atmosphere.

The view was spectacular and also the bus stop right outside the hotel made access from the airport extremely convenient.
Hotel room was fine, the price was amazing and i loved the fact that the staff were really friendly n helpful.
The roof top bar/restaurant looked like a great location to dine and good to park in back streets.

Location for getting into central Athens on the tram is excellent and best hotel during my European Tour and a variety to choose from for breakfast. Bathroom ventilation is from the balcony door and was very hot and stuffy.

The location was perfect for us and ended up at the Poseidon Hotel Beach Club by chance and had a great day. The staff were really friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was good for a gluten allergic.

The rooftop pool was nice and the view was magnificent, the breakfast buffet had excellent variety and the staff were very helpful.

The road just in front off the hotel was terrible, the service was slow and mattresses on beds were very hard.

Good location can enjoy seaside and just across the road from the beach a short tram ride to the city. The view from the balcony of sea view hotel is magnificent and staff are extreamly helpfull. Rooms are very clean, terrace at the rooftop is very nice and one of the best breakfast offers one can find in Athens.

Street is very busy day and night, elevator is too warm no A/C. The rooftop pool is not as luxurious as looks on the advertisement.

Bar area were really nice, tram and bus service were convenient, the restaurant as well as the beach tavern were absolutely magnificent. Hotel room was fine, the price was amazing and i loved the fact that the staff were really friendly n helpful. Bedsheets, flooring, and yes more importantly the bathroom was spotless, breakfast was abundant and good value.
