Portland Regency Hotel - 波特兰

Situated in the revitalizing historic section of downtown Portland and the hotel is in a great location.

The common areas are large and the best things about this hotel are the location.

The location is fantastic, the Regency Portland is an interesting hotel and valet/front door staff to all be courteous and accommodating.

We used the complimentary car to and from the airport which allowed us to use our two car seats and the driver, a college student, was extremely friendly.

Also - you can arrange with the hotel for a ride to the Amtrak train station, (probably only about a 5 minute drive) which worked very well for us the morning we had to leave.

Our spacious guest room was tastefully decorated with a comfortable king sized bed, a desk, side chairs, flat screened tv, minibar and free wifi service for my laptop.

My room was very nicely arranged - with an entry-way with closet, well-equipped bathroom, sitting area with sofa, good bed - and nice window treatment.

The room as very nice with a 4 poster bed, marble bath, and all of the standard ammenities.

The rooms are homey (we had a four poster bed) and quirky (a skylight serves as a window; unfortunately, ours overlooked a parking lot).

Extremely comfortable bed and loads of room.

We had drinks in the lounge (The Armory) and received very good service, and we ate breakfast in the restaurant on two mornings and found the food and service excellent.

We ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast and it was so good.

The bar was very nice, breakfasts were delicious and the gardens were beautiful.

The furniture is classic, the bar is cozy and comfortable, i'm sure the steakhouse in the restaurant is good.

Breakfast was included in our package and served at the hotel restaurant, 20 Milk St.

The service very nice, helpful manager and staff were quite friendly on check-in.

We found the front desk, reservations, and valet/front door staff to all be courteous and accommodating.

Go early to appreciate the luxury of the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.

Valet car parking was great as was location of the hotel, right in the harbour district and close to whatever Portland had to offer.

We first had an appointment with the spa (this is not a Spa review, but it was excellent) and the trip down there (service elevator) was not the best of what the hotel had to offer.

The hotel also maintains a computer in the lobby w/internet access, and all of the rooms are outfitted with high speed wireless internet service - a plus for business travelers.

The wireless is free throughout the hotel and worked perfectly.

The room was clean and the two bathrobes were a nice addition.

The staff was courteous, our room was spacious and spotless, the mattress was one of the most comfortable ones I'd ever slept on.
