Bright and safe hotel with modern design. Large room with a bath and the bedroom and lovely shower. Consistently courteous members of the staff in the reception desk. Favourable and easy location in a nice and calm area and local area. Fresh food in the restaurants such as Genting Casino Edgbaston, located 15 min away.

Functional & airy unit with a bath.

A very good way to end my trip. Central location, superb base for discovering Birmingham. Set adjacent to the centre of town in the very convenient area. Comfy bed in the double room, plus coffee facilities, a kitchen, and a kettle;))

Particularly good and easy location, 3 miles from city center. Functional & well heated room with the wardrobe space and the bathroom, for example.

Questionable area.

The location was central, MARVELLOUS good in good position for accessing City centre. The stuff were excellent and efficient in case of questions. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the double room on a tv somewhere.

Flooded bathroom and Wi-Fi was bad.

Original place with immensely pleasant staff on request which the receptionist was happy to accommodate, thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was great as for me, near centre of Birmingham for a concert, Close to a shop and the staff, and still in a nice.

Well-appointed and great little room with a very normal breakfast and good ventilation, for example, and safe too for guests' safety. Certainly a real good experience for short break in Birmingham.

Poorly trained staff!

The hotel was set in a central area close enough to The Hagley ” restaurant, establishment, and the metro stop into the city. The breakfast was warm and well presented with coloured water and toast, for example.

Flooded bathroom, and the breakfast was limited.

totally very very good stay with the overall service on arrival and till the end of stay. clean hotel, wonderfully helpful staff, romantic rooms. nice hot breakfast selection, toast, bread and fruit.

The location for Birmingham was perfect and magnificent, near The Hagley ” restaurant, and main attractions. Good service, although a few employees were poorly trained.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad, and the bed was very uncomfortable.

The room itself was neat on a tv somewhere and had essentials we needed.

This is a well priced and extremely comfy place for a short break. I have stayed in the king room on a tv somewhere. The location is ideal, the staff is incredibly helpful. It's not too far away from The Steam Room, I tried nice desserts there. The hotel's restaurant is very clean with good Indian food.

My recent stay at Portland Hotel was absolutely delightful. I stayed for a few nights and found the experience to be exceptional. The breakfast options were plentiful, with a good selection to choose from, including gluten-free options and delicious fruit tea. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean. The shower was also wonderful, providing a great start to the day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay, even giving me the same room as my previous visit. I will definitely be returning for another enjoyable stay.

I highly recommend this hotel.
