Pomme D'Or Hotel Jersey - St Saviour

I stayed here with my husband and two friends for a weekend and it was the perfect location - right next to the shops and restaurants but conveniently situated so that you weren't disturbed by the noises from the town centre.

The location is superb, i got the impression that most people preferred to eat outside of the hotel a varied menu could be located and staff could not have been more helpful.

Central location in easy reach of the shops and nicely situated by the harbour & very reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel.

The location is very good; just over the road is the bus station which has regular services (except Sunday’s) to most parts of the island, including the airport,?

The hotel was good at 4* our room was well fitted out with a comfortable bed and air conditioning.

Two friends traveling together needed two beds; this hotel did not have a room with two twins, so we had to book two separate rooms.

Forget even thinking about buying property unless you have won the Euro millions, house prices are higher than Geneva, with new two bed apartments going for?

Also as they only have a few of the larger family rooms that can fit a cot or additional bed, we understand these are all at the back of the hotel which unfortunately over look bars.

Room only had double glazing in bedroom not the bathroom.

Restaurant excellent, buffet breakfast superb, took up option for evening meal with all you could eat seafood buffet again quality and quantity superb.

Breakfast buffet was very nice, and we ate in the hotel's Cafe bar one evening and had a fantastic dinner.

Had dinner and breakfast in the harbor restaurant, both the service and food could not be faulted.

Cafe Bar very good and breakfast was great.

The breakfast room was bright, all the Restaurants were very good.

The position was excellent, staff everywhere in the hotel were better than first class and the service was also very professional.

The service even better, some rooms have not been as modern as I would expect and the restaurant staff are particularly well trained.

All the staff were pleasant and very helpful - from the restuarant to the front desk.

The express check out is a good idea, with any discepancies being quickly handled by a team of 'no problem' excellent reception staff.

Things within 100 yards of hotel: bus depot, ST Helier precinct, tourist train pick up point, old harbour, Jersey Museum, steam clock, maritime museum, car parking.

No parking at the hotel as it's so central.

The only slight nuisance is parking as the hotel doesn't have its own car park - we found the Esplanade car park to be the most convenient, scratch cards for parking can be purchased from the hotel shop.

Bathrooms were spotless, the breakfast selection on offer was very good.

The rooms are spotless, serving staff for breakfast could not have been better.

Stayed in this hotel for a 3 night including weekend break, staff very friendly and helpful, apparently hotel has been refurbished rooms were excellent with modern fittings and spotlessly clean.

All parts of the hotel were spotless, including the bedrooms and all staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite and only too pleased to help and assist.

In addition service was really good and the room was clean.
