However, staying in condos is optimal in Hawaii as when you have been to the store you have all you need without having to smart at the crazy hotel prices.
In a great location, so happy we decided to stay at poipu kapili and the office staff were friendly.
The location is great as you can walk next door to the Sheraton is on a great beach, the owner has done so much to make this place wonderful and the staff is excellent.

They include a very comfortable king size bed, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen with a full size refigerator and dish washer, dining room, and living room with TV, stereo, and High Speed Internet.
Poipu Kapili was beautiful, the beds were more comfortable than our high-end bed at home and the beach was perfect for children.
Although the unit is "a one bedroom" - 6 could easily be comfortable with two pull out beds in the very large livingroom and 2 very spacious bathrooms.
Great bedrooms, bath, modern kitchen, living room.
Some of the furnishings in #6 were ok -- the guest bedroom has a very cool canopy bed.
We ate breakfast in, lunch on the road, and dinner out.
This is totally convenient to Poipu Shopping Mall (quality gift shops and restaurants), Old Koala town, Kiahuna Golf Course, and a do-able hike to Spouting Horn and the National Botanical Gardens.
So, much time over breakfast, or evening meals (cooked at the on-site bbq facility), beers etc were had on the balcony.
The restaurants in the area are very good too and the atmosphere they make is a pleasant.
The Sheraton Beach is a 5 min walk and the Kiahuna Restaurants a 10 min walk.
The friendly front desk staff made sure that my stay there was the best.
The staff is extremely kind at the front desk and the owners tried their best to think ahead.
Moreover air conditioning would have been a great plus, the pool is magnificent.
Her local helpers was pleasant, the pool was cleaned.
The property is kept immaculate and due to the small size, very quiet, no waiting for the barbeques, or a crowded pool.
The units also have high-speed internet, a nice feature if you have to work on your vacation.
The high speed Internet access was definitely an asset.
The rooms are always kept clean and this is a direct reflection of the great housekeeping staff.
