The location in Umea is very modern, the Sushi restaurant opposite the hotel is also very good and the rooms are very nice and clean.

The location of the hotel is directly across from the city center.

The location was great and our stay at the Scandic Plaza was fine.

Taxis were readily available, and everyone I came across in Umea spoke English, AND helped me learn some Swedish.

Hotel is only 5/10 mins from the airport and is a good choice for your stay.

There are three elevators that lead you to the guest rooms, and if you are higher than the 3rd floor, you get a great view of the city centre through the glass doors!

The room was a typical European room, with wood floors, two single beds pushed together, and semi-modern furnishings.

Room had twin beds and was very clean (as most Scandic's are).

I enjoyed the free high speed internet in my room, and the alarm clock built into the television.

The room had a great view of both the water and the city centre.

I did not eat in the restaurant during my visit, so I cannot comment on the lunch/dinner offered.

A nice spread was out each morning in the restaurant and included breads, meats, cheeses, fruits/vegetables, hot items such as eggs and bacon, cereal and yogurt.

There, you will find a grocery store that is open until 19:00 every day, and several restaurants and pubs.

Additionally the showers were good and the Free breakfast was excellent as well.

The breakfast was a smorgesbord of cheese, drinks and cooked meats.

The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, and checked us in quickly.

The hotel was in a great location in the main shopping area of Umea, the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and the wireless internet worked fine.

The quality of the food adequate and the staff was extremely helpful.

Good service with a smile and check in desk very helpful.

One step machine next to Male / female sauna'a.

Free wireless internet which is a godsend as a business user.

Also free wireless internet is a godsend as a business user, umea hosts a classic car rally every july.

    Nice rooms and overall very good but the best is the (women)-sauna. The panorama-windows give you a beautiful view over the river (Ume-älven). Also the fitness-room has the same amazing view.

    Great central position, the Bishops Arms pub across the road is a good spot for a pint and eldest hotel of the city offers a cosy. Also free wireless internet is a godsend as a business user, umea hosts a classic car rally every july.
