Hotel Plaza Nueva Granada - 格拉纳达

Chose because is conveniently located near the Alhambra, the location for the hotel is great - walking distance within most tourist destinations and the staff is very helpful.

The location is excellent and close to all the cafes, restaurants and teterias of the Albaicin.

The airport bus stops about a five minute walk away.

The city bus will take you up the hill for 1euro.

Both the room and the bathroom were clean, although the towels were unfortunately quite small and very thin.

Reception was very friendly, the bed was comfy.

Bathroom was delightful and kitchen/bath equipment were new and clean.

Also one of the largest rooms, definitely the largest bathroom I’ve ever had in Europe.

However, I know that you can have a breakfast buffet for 12euros/day, which we thought was overpriced: You can get a nice breakfast in any of the cafes around the plaza for half that price.

We walked everywhere, and were seconds away from restaurants, shopping and the cathedral.

We had no reservation, jsut came in off the street, and AS ALWAYS in spain this means you get NO BREAKFAST.

When is Spain going to offer hotel guests breakfast like everywhere else for goodness sake?

So, we had to have breakfast across the street, no big deal, since the area is nice and filled with sidewalk cafés.

The staff was nice, and the front door is secure during the night hours so we felt very safe.

We didn't use of any of the other hotel services, so I can't say much about them.

As guests, we had free internet access at the lobby, however, the connection was down most of the time, and we realised that it is common problem throughtout Spain.

Excellent value for money and free internet in the lobby.

Negative points would be that the hallways, elevator and foyer were a bit run down and tacky, though you could see they had tried to make improvements.

The bathroom were clean and the breakfast extra was lovely and fresh.

Nice area, there are 2 streets full of Arab tea shops just to the west of the hotel that were great fun to wander through and the rooms are clean.

The staff is very helpful and clean room - close to main reason to visit Granada.

Everything is spotless and the twin room was huge with a view over the square.
