OVERALL: Had a great trip, explored the whole island, and based on what we saw, we think this hotel has got a great location and is nice for the price.

To eat at the hotel Playa Azul cost us $200.

We booked our stay on line and when we arrived the hotel, they told me that we needed to pay extra for our teens.

We loved the smaller size and location of the hotel- close to town, golf and airport.

The location was great and since it is a smaller Hotel we did not have to fight a bunch of people.

The location was a few miles from the downtown which was nice to avoid the cruise ship crowds.

Taxis are always waiting out in front of the hotel to take you into town (it's an eight minute, $5 trip).

Cozumel is very nice and relaxing but the cost of taxis really add up if you go anywhere.

My room was nicely decorated with a comfy bed and a good size shower area.

The rooms were clean and special touches such as bed turn down and towels folded in animal shapes or flowers were appreciated.

Our maid had a new animal creation made from towels on our bed every day after making up the room.

The rooms are spacious and attractive (and our bed was very comfortable).

The bed was a little on the hard side but really no different from other beds we’ve slept on in Mexico.

We ate at the restaurants for lunch and dinner a few times and really enjoyed our meals.

The restaurant right across the street had wonderful grilled fish, the ocean view was beautiful and the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast was very good.

Which we would have found this restaurant earlier as the patio is in great location and the food is a tremendous value.

Outdoor bar are well-maintained, the food is good and as always the local people are wonderful.

A breakfast buffet was included in the price, and eating outside listening to the ocean was a great way to start our day.

Also our stay was absolutely wonderful, the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, our room was very clean.

This is a mavelous, small hotel, with a friendly staff and great service.

The view of the pool and the beach were impressive, but as we were escorted to the "garden house" we were disappointed as the house actually appears to be a converted trailer near the parking lot with a view of the back of the property.

Since we were getting up early for snorkeling, we were grateful that the pool closes at 11 so we could get some needed rest.

Small resort and the pool wasn't heated at all but the trip was fantastic.

Our room was very clean and the matresses and linens are all new as they were replaced after the storm.

The staff was really great, the rooms were also very clean and the food was awesome.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean.

The room was clean and restaurant were great.

Room was spotless, the free breakfast buffet was excellent.

    Beach area was great and cab rides were very reasonable in price. The hotel was nice, the restaurant right across the street had wonderful grilled fish and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The pool was very clean.

    Cab rides were very reasonable in price, the beach was nice and the downtown area square was just beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff was wonderful and room was spotless. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the pool was clean.

    Near the beach restaurant, great view and the Hotel was truly wonderful. Maid service was excellent and the room was cleaned daily. The food/drinks were fabulous, all of the local people we ran into were nice and friendly, the pool was clean.

    Nice beach and great view. PLace is quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Water are super, outdoor bar are well-maintained and the margarita drinks are strong.

    The Port is very busy during cruise ship docking and the store is small. Furthermore the soap is tiny and the pool is not heated.

    Very nice beach and a boat that tied to the pier took us out to view them for free. The food at the hotel resturant was very well prepared, the staff was wonderful and rooms: We had a top floor master suite was fabulous. Breakfast was excellent, the pool was very clean.

    Loved the location, nice decor, clean, helpful staff, quiet.

    Food choices at the hotel limited.

    This was our first visit to hotel, I couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of accommodations. Just far enough from town to be out of the hustle and bustle but an short trip in. Beautiful hotel, clean, cool rooms. Great snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Food was not great but we went somewhere different every night. I would stay here again.

    Eating outside listening to the ocean was a great way to start our day, one of the nicest things about our stay was the free buffet breakfast and the front desk staff was very nice. Rooms were very comfortable and food was also pretty good.
