I stayed at a hotel located on the right side of town, making it convenient for traveling to and from the airport in a yellow taxi. The hotel's only restaurant had a small bar and lounge area where smoking was allowed. The public areas downstairs had free Wi-Fi, which was slow but still usable for basic tasks like sending emails. The rooms were minimally equipped but clean, with individual AC controls and small flat screen TVs mounted on the walls.
There were instances where the pillows on the beds were dirty and highly uncomfortable, causing neck aches. the bathroom had burnt-out bulbs and there were delays in getting them replaced.

Excellent base a trip in Douala! La Fourchette, located within 10 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. There was free parking.

My short stay at a hotel in Douala was adequate. The room was tidy with fresh towels and linens provided. The location was convenient with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions. The free Wi-Fi was fast and stable, allowing me to work uninterrupted.
The hotel was not well-maintained. The room showed signs of wear and tear, and the air conditioning unit was faulty.
