Finally, despite there being free water dispensers around the hotel, don't try to bring any past the security guards - it is not allowed and don't bother explaining that you are actually saving the hotel money by buying your own - rules is rules!
The rooms are OK, not 4 or 5 star by any means, and it does depend on what room you get, we were happy with ours, it had two rooms, lounge/kitchen and bedroom plus of course bathroom, so plenty of room for the two of us.
My reasons being the balcony door didnt lock, using the toilet would of meant banging your head and finally the room we had the window was broken and the safe didnt work!
Bathrooms are tiny with the WC squeezed in between a half bath/shower and small basin.
My room was very quiet, but did overlook the pool toilets of the closed hotel next door.
I expected a plush hotel as Saga only use nice places, when I arrived I had to change rooms 3 times!
They hotel boasts a crystal food hygeine award - pity the bar staff don't realise this includes not using bare hands to put ice in drinks or to help themselves to the odd nibble from the buffet.
The restaurant is very disappointing - the buffet displays look impressive, but they never change.
A big plus is the chef who makes fresh breads and pide in the restaurant - this was excellent quality.
The food is very good indeed, salads, well fantastic.
The meat what they cook is good, but they could do with a little more choice, but I found at least one dish everynight and it was very nice.
The hotel itself is very clean, very friendly, and they do their best to make you feel at welcome, some of the staff are exceptional, some are just ok.
Staff were generally very friendly and were seen to be very helpful for older Saga guests who had difficulty with getting around - they never had to be asked and they do get five stars!
Not forgetting the Spa, that is excellent, all the works, they have everything, gym, sauna, turkish sauna, hot spa pool, massage.
