Getting there

Edinburgh Airport is located about 8.9km from the hotel.

By car depart on Jubilee Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Eastfield Road. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Eastfield Road. Bear left onto Slip Road. Continue straight ahead onto A8. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A8 Saint John's Road. Turn left onto Coates Gardens.

By bus take the Aiport Bus 100 to Haymarket Terrace. The Piries Hotel is just a short walk from there.

Edinburgh Waverley Station is approximately 1.9km from the hotel.

From the station cross Waverley Bridge and turn left upon reaching Princes Street. Walk down Princes Street, Shandwick Place and West Maitland Street until you reach Haymarket Terrace. Coates Gardens is on the Right hand side across the road.

Locality to all Edinburgh attractions are great and being on the bus route helped a lot, location is good. The hotel is near Haymarket, the reception is always available and friendly, breakfast is basic and simple.

The building is in a very bad state of repair and is generally dirty, the wireless internet is not free. Bar drinks are not expensive either.

There's a fantastic Indian just near hay market station, for a GREAT burger try the Haymarket Pub about a block away and bar area are welcoming and pleasant after a day's sightseeing. The piries hotel is ideal for a short stay, bed sheets and towels are fresh, my room smelled not bad at all.
