THe location is particularly good if you need to be near the airport, a little less so if you want to go into the downtown area - you'd need a car for that.

We arrived at the airport late and had been told to call the hotel for a Princess Tours rep to pick us up.

Once we got to baggage claim at the airport, there was, in fact, Princess reps to meet us.

Our room had a huge king size bed that was so comfortable and lots of space.

The room was very comfortable and the Aveda bath amenities a pleasant surprise- I must say.

Make sure you ask for a room with wireless Internet, because I think the wifi doesn't reach all rooms.

Once I got to my room I realized I didn't have a view of the river - something that I was led to believe most all rooms had.

As both a pleasure and business traveler, a good bed is the most important part of my hotel stay.

The breakfast bar is much better than average, and in a beatiful dining room.

We ate 2 dinners at the Pike's restaurant next door and loved the food (one waiter was unfriendly), would HIGHLY recommend the dining experience.

Other than the dining room we had no complaints and we ate several meals at the restaurant next door, overlooking the Chena River.

But, once that was rectified, the breakfast bar was wonderful - anything you could think of was offered.

The food at the restaurant was average, and not the high-class dining experience it touts itself.

Super friendly staff from the front desk to the housekeepers.

The front desk people as well as those in the lounge were very service-orientd and friendly.

The front desk staff had my itinerary down to the last detail and happily made last minute adjustments as I needed, while still dealing with the throngs of cruise ship patrons who were in and out each day.

Warm hotel where the owner often is in the lobby greeting guests and making people feel welcome.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The beds were deep and comfortable, crisp and clean, and the interior of the cabin had real polished log walls.

The room was clean, not over-sized (but this is Alaska), and reasonable space for 2 people for 2 nights.

The rooms were very comfprtable and clean, which is very important to me with two children, one being very young.

The check-in process was quite smooth, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
