Phoenix Hotel Copenhagen - 哥本哈根

The location is perfect and the hotel is very well situated in the center.

A little too far to easily walk with luggage to the train station but taxis there or to the airport are not too expensive.

Connection from airport by metro was easy to use and the hotel staff spoke excellent English.

We booked a non-smoking room with a king size bed and received a beautiful modernized room with a courtyard view.

The room was large and well-equipped with a queen size bed, a desk with chair and additional table with chairs.

Rooms are vanishingly tiny, you have to turn sideways to get past the desk or around the bed.

On the positive side, the rooms are large with big bathtubs (though both were a little dirty -- hair in the tub upon check-in).

We did not eat at the restaurant so I can't comment but the room was really great and the bed comfortable.

Bar are adequate and the breakfast are amazing.

There are meeting rooms throughout the main floor, a pub and restaurant occupy the lower floors (the bar staff is as grumpy as the desk staff).

The hotel has a small dining area downstairs that is used for breakfast and dinner.

The gorgeous breakfast, herring plus both hot menu.

The breakfast buffet every morning was wonderful with many different items to choose from.

That the reception staff fended off parking wards tried to fine my car, rooms are quite small and close to a lot of good restaurants.

Great service-very helpful front desk and friendly receptionists always willing to help.

Perfect location, this hotel has a reputation for being elegant and luxurious, very nice staff at the reception.

The lobby area looks like a hodge-podge of cold and gild, the guest floors are more on the dark side and outdated, definitely in dire need of an upgrade.

Even if I hadn't found this evidence of poor or nonexistent housekeeping, I have to say that the Phoenix didn't look or feel like a four star hotel to me.

Parking is located across the street in a public garage: rates are reasonable.

The wireless internet is easy and free but drops out every few minutes.

Elevators are available to get to the rooms, the hotel’s halls smell of old smoke, but the rooms are clean and fresh.

Staff were fantastic and the room was clean.

The room was clean, the breakfast buffet every morning was wonderful.

Also the staff were very good and the bathroom was clean.

We enjoyed the Phoenix and our room was clean, spacious, and nicely furnished with A/C as opposed to many of the other reviewers.
