I have stayed in Greenville many times at the upper end hotels but the price and total great experience at The Phoenix can not be beaten.

The Phoenix is located about 2 miles from the downtown area and a cab ride cost around 6 or 7 bucks.

The decor of the room was very tastefully done and the bed was comfortable.

Don't let the "four poster beds" and blah, blah, blah make you think it is a quaint little inn or similar to a bed and breakfast.

Rooms are outside rather than "inside hotel style" faced parking lot and very very noisy the worst part of the room was the light in the bathroom that constantly had a very noisy fan on.

The bed was comfortable, the Palms restaurant we had an excellent steak the second night.

The toiletries in the bathroom were from Bath and Bodyworks and the entire place was spotless!

When we arrived, we were given two free breakfast buffet coupons, free beverage coupons for the onsite pub, and a coupon for a free beverage or dessert at the restaurant.

We all met each morning in the lovely dining room for breakfast _oooo the buffett is wonderful!

The accommodations charming and clean, fantastic breakfast.

The restaurant superb, free beverage coupons for the onsite pub.

Moreover the breakfast was a basic continental.

The front desk clerk, restaurant service, housekeeping people, bartenders were always friendly and quick to wait on us.

The dining room staff put tables together for us so we could all sit together and the service was absolutely perfect!

The staff is particularly friendly and attentive and the style is "southern charm".

Our room exited to a garden area with a fountain, bistro tables, and swimming pool (although it was too cool to try the pool while we were there.

The pool area is charming and very clean.

We spent a lot of our time out by the pool-the perfect gathering spot for young and old!

It is very close to the convention center and it has wireless internet throughout.

The room was clean and breakfast was one of the Best sit down I had in a motel.

The staff efficient and helpful, clean rooms, the pub has a great bar.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and swimming pool The room itself was immaculately clean.

Greenville's Inn after reading the great reviews on Booked, nice staff and the room was immaculately clean.

They loved the charming decor, the staff there was attentive and the rooms were Very Clean.

    A lovely lobby, great stay and the friendly Staff was so nice. The bed was comfortable, the Palms restaurant we had an excellent steak the second night.

    The rooms on the interior open to a lovely pool/garden area, the staff is warm and friendly, the TV is tiny - 17 tops and ancient. Restaurant are beautiful, the facility well set up.
