Definitely avoid the hotel's restaurants, which are overpriced.

There are numerous places to eat within walking distance from the hotel for every palate and price range.

The hotel is quite large and labrynthine, which contributes to its institutional feel, but service was very good--the bellhops and valet attendants actually went above and beyond to be accomodating--and, for the price, the room was a great deal.

I was nonplused at the time, but we go to a lot of meetings and sometimes the room prices are just high for the hotel where the meeting is staged.

Nicely situated and the location of the hotel is ideal for tourist wish to visit center city.

I would have stayed at the Courtyard or Residence Inn in the same location had I realized the situation.

This is an enormous faciility (close to 2000 rooms) and it couldn't be in a better location.

Outside on Market Street there is a subway station and a Philly Phlash bus stop.

First of all, I love that you can take the subway from the airport to the hotel.

Our room was quite large and had 4 great lamps for reading and two large extremely comfortable beds (4 pillows on each bed, and a comforter and a wool throw on each bed)( with extra blankets in the closet just in case.

The room was very comfortable with a king size bed, larger than normal bathroom, sitting area, desk and entertainment area.

The rooms are regular rooms (kinda small) the beds and pillows were nice and comfortable, we had a big bathroom which was a big plus for this room.

The hotel room itself was just ok; the bed was not that great, it was not one of the new soft lush beds they are putting in all of the hotels of this caliber.

The bathrooms are luxurious -- lots of room, lots of mirrors, great water pressure, large shower head and the tub always drains.

I didn't eat at the restaurants, but there seemed to be a pretty decent variety of places in the hotel (steakhouse, sushi, sports bar/pub, diner type restaurant).

Spacious, palatial lobby with a couple of boutique type shops as well as Starbucks, a lobby bar, and several restaurants.

We took one meal at the Champions restaurant off the lobby – good service but noisy atmosphere (sports bar), with standard pub fare, greasy and no great bargain.

Lobby has a Starbucks, a bunch of restaurants (Champions Sports Bar, a hotel restaurants, a JW Steakhouse) and some shops.

We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant, Allie's which had a breakfast buffet with an above average selection of items, even though it was overpriced.

The bell staff and concierge service was more than satisfactory.

Upon arrival and with a non smoking reservation, the front desk staff was terribly curt about not having my requested room.

The pool was warm and clean, as was the jacuzzi which had a breath taking view of the city skyline.

The hotel has a pool and a very large fitness center with a good selection of cardio machines (at least 15 treadmills) and weight training equipment.

We checked out the indoor pool and fitness facility - the fitness center was very good, the pool was just OK.

Wired Internet access costs extra (I believe $9.

99 per day for wired broadband (which was "down" for 1 of the 3 days we were here.

The bathroom was very large and clean as well.

The staff is eager to please, the rooms are clean and the F&B was good.

It had two large clean and comfortable beds and two sofas.

Staff was great, room was clean and the breakfast buffet was wonderful.

The beds were comfortable, the food for our catered event was fantastic and the pool was warm and clean.

Great location and the museum of modern art. Nice place to stay and lovely building. Easy walking distance to interesting shops and the Convention Special rate we paid. The staff was courteous and check-in was completely efficient.

I room was not clean property, the service in the restaurant was poor.

The hotel was clean and the spectacular floral arrangements in the lobby were top notch. Also conference areas were nice, the front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, the curtains on the windows were thick enough to shut out the light. Elevators were very fast and to the restaurant employees were very accommodating and pleasant.

Great location, large staff to get cabs and a 15 minute walk to all of the historic. The hotel is huge, provides a good venue for lunch everyday except Sunday and best rates are available you book directly on their website. The restaurants within walking distance are really excellent and lobby is really nice. The room is fine and the sports bar is adequate.

The food is very expensive, the pool is rather small.

Near city hall, the subway is also readily accessible and the hotel is quiet at night. The upstairs steak house is fine and the Lobby is very large. The staff is accommodating, the room didn't feel much cooler than 75 and pillows are extremely comfortable -- like sleeping on clouds.

The location is really nice and this hotel is GREAT. Prices are usually much better on a Saturday night, lobby is impressive and the staff is helpful and efficient. The rooms are spacious, the food is OK at best.

The location was great, every hotel employee we encountered was pleasant and the lobby of the Marriott was clean. The staff was exceptional and check-in was very quick. The room was fine and the jacuzzi was nice and hot. Breakfast buffet was adequate.

Very convenient location to restaurants, historic Old Town and long Distance. At a cool place, really nice bar in the lobby as well and service was friendly and prompt. The beds were comfortable, the food for our catered event was fantastic and the pool was warm and clean.
