Petit Palace Arana Hotel Bilbao - 毕尔巴鄂

Great location, hotel is very well located at the edge of the Casco Viejo there are lots of restaurants and staffs are extremely friendly.

Great location and there are good eating places nearby.

The location is perfect, on the edge of the old town, next to the river and on walking distance of the gugenheim.

Right at the edge of the Old City, two tram stops from the San Sebastien/Bilbao train station, two blocks (just across the bridge) from the main Renfe station, and 4 tram stops from the Guggenheim.

The metro is fantastic - not huge but is new and very clean & efficient and cheap!

For the same price as the seedy one-star Arriaga were going to charge us for two rooms, we got a family room (6 foot bed and bunks for the kids) and as-much-as-you-can-eat buffet breakfast in this high tech three star (not two star as set out).

Our room, 209, had a huge comfortable double bed, nice modern bathroom and excellent shower.

The room is decked out entirely in laminated wood (wooden floor, modern wooden bed, TV desk etc), and had a cute little balcony which gave us a fantastic view of the Theatre across the road.

When booking did specify two beds but got one king size bed.

The only mirror in the room was a horizontal one above the bed's headboard.

It's convenient for buses and the railway statiion, a pleasant riverside walk to the Guggenheim and close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Breakfast was good compared to the normal Spanish hotel fare - plenty of fresh fruit, the bread included wholemeal rolls, and there were some hot dishes such as tortilla as well as cold meats, cheese with quince jelly etc.

Great value for money, free internet in the lobby and the staff were generally friendly and helpful.

The internet terminal, free to use, in the reception area, was obvoiusly broadband - very fast, and I noticed the keyboard and mouse were spotless.

Staff friendly enough, but of the two I dealt with only one really spoke English.

This place was clean, new and we had a fourth floor room overlooking the river (405).

Room was clean and spacious, just right for four nights.

Bathroom were spotless and breakfast was excellent lots of choice.
