Petit Palace Alcala Torre Hotel Madrid - 马德里

The location is excellent- right next to the Sevilla metro.

The Petit Palace Alcala Torre is in a fantastic location and is a nice looking hotel too.

Central location made it easy to move around.

We took the Metro from the Airport and arrived at Seville station which left us right outside the door of the hotel.

We never took a taxi, bus or subway to anywhere - we walked everywhere.

After a quick check at the front desk we were given the room we ordered, which was very large, very comfortable, with a large bed, flat screen TV (small) nice bathroom and even an exercise bike which proved very useful.

Our room was 312 - twin beds, We asked for a room with a doube bed but were told that 312 was a much bigger and better room: what a lie.

The room was not much bigger than the bed.

Both rooms are very well decorated in a modern style and have a fantastic bathroom with superb showers.

The bed was 20cm away from the window on one side and 20cm from the closet on the other side!

Its a great place for this type of trip, the only real downside is the lack of facilities-no bar or evening restaurant but then you are in Madrid so plenty of great places to go!

It is not the kind of hotel to relax or chill out in as it there are no social areas and there are no hotel facilities such as bar, room service, in room tea/coffee or restaurant.

On checking in we weren't told that the hotel bar and restaurant were under renovation and that there weren't infact any facilities that would give this hotel a four start accreditation.

We didn't go to the restaurant in the hotel b/c we didn't come to Madrid to eat at the hotel restaurant.

The breakfast wasnt included but was 9 euros each and the food was good, nice breakfast room too.

In the morning when we complained the staff was not very helpful, and the manager nor the hotel customer service never replied to emails.

Additionally, the front desk staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

Le lendemain matin, nous nous sommes plaints à la réception, mais le personnel n’était pas très serviable et ni le responsable, ni le service qualité de l’hôtel n’ont jamais répondu à nos mails.

The elevator going upstairs in the tower is quite small, but they probably wanted to use the space more efficiently.

There is no lobby per-se, so you arrive at a desk.

Before booking I found several websites that indicated that the Petit Palace Alcala Torre had a swimming pool, so was disappointed to find that this is not true.

Fantastic price for you get, easy internet access.

The staff were enormously helpful and the room was very clean.

The rooms were modern, clean and were serviced well daily.

This hotel is ideal for a couple not looking for anything more than a comfortable, modern clean room with friendly staff.

We got a second floor room, which was small for a four star hotel but nice and clean, the room was facing the street, which is very noisy.
