The room was generously sized and offered a stunning view, plus they provided a wake-up service if needed.

The hotel room was spacious and had a coffee machine, which I loved. The large terrace was a great addition to the room. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for nearby attractions.

The hotel's rooftop open area had a very central setting, and it was also very close to the boardwalk. We greatly enjoyed the extremely spacious apartment with a great view, it felt like we were home.

The breakfast was particularly good and above average. The hotel was clean and special. The staff were extremely helpful. The food was outstanding. The service in the property was excellent. They offer a poolside bar on the property.

I must say, the value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room we stayed in was absolutely awesome, spacious and comfortable. The location, right opposite Copacabana Beach, was perfect for us. The staff at the reception, especially Jose, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The view from the pool on the rooftop was simply amazing.

Rio hotels seem to be the only hotels that charge for the internet. I travel worldwide and internet is usuallly free. The lobby bar tried to charge me the equivalent of £35.00 for a double JD and coke. I accept that hotel bars are expensive but that was ridiculous. Normal price should be about £10.00. Rates should include all the various government taxes and service charge to give a realistic idea of the actual cost.

The only things that I believe they value the money you pay at Pestana are the excellent service, the friendly staff and the perfect location. Make sure you get an ocean view room or better choose another hotel.

The hotel can`t classified as a five stars hotel, very old deteriorated rooms and corridors, 80th time furniture, awful illumination and appalling facilities. the hotel needs an overall urgent renovations.

The room was kept clean and available on floors ripped. Best staff and the location was particularly good and stunning.- Being nearby a tube station was a bonus.
