Pestana Rio Atlantica Copacabana

The Pestana is situated in a great location but really any hotel right on Cococabanna you can´t really go wrong.

The location is right in the heart of Copocabana beach and just a short cab right to Ipanema and Leblon.

Great choice, excellent price, great location!

30am) in Rio and had arranged a taxi transfer from the airport via UK based company - as virgins to Rio we had read so much about BAD Rio.

Excellent - central on the waterfront at Copacabana and within easy walking distance of Ipanema, ATMs, subway station and local buses.

Rooms are spacious (we stayed at a junior suite, with a little family room, kitchenette).

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a nice view of Copocabana beach.

Almost everything was a five star but the bedroom, (in my case a suite with parcial view to Copacabana beach) is weak in confort with individual and noisy air conditioned devices, and last day without hot water between 10 a.

Accommodation - we were given an upgrade to a suite (313) which was spacious having a lounge and separate bedroom.

Some parts of the hotel were dated -carpet in corridors and the carpet in the double room was a little tired but the ocean suite did have a laminate floor.

I have just stayed in Pestana for a week and I must say that everything is great about this hotel: service, lobby, breakfast, views from the pool, restaurant and of course location - but not the rooms.

Also plenty of local juice bars, restaurants and convenience shops to the rear of the hotel.

Breakfast is nice but it should be improved as we're talking of a 5 star hotel.

Breakfast was complimentary every morning with made-to-order waffles and eggs and a host of other delights - fruits, breads.

Adjacent to the hotel is a great italian restaurant - Don Catello.

My group had a problem with an reception employee because we wanted paying partially with cash, but she said the hotel only accepted the credit card written in the reservation made by Booked.net.

Service at the pool area was very good and very friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and made us reservations at this wonderful restaurant called "Satyricon".

They have a great rooftop pool with bar service and a nice spa.

The pool, roof top bar and gym area was under construction, and covered in so much dust they would have been hazerdous to use.

I don´t remenber more problems and we spent good hollidays at Pestana Rio Atlantica that has a swiming pool in the to of the building with a fantastic view to Copacabana and Pão de Açucar.

Shower wasn't cleaned properly and wireless very expensive.

The room was lovely, spacious and very clean.

The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious -- inside tip: even the rooms that are partial-view of the ocean (which we had) were great - unless you want to really pay alot don't get the full ocean view rooms.
