The location was a good 10 - 15 minutes walk from the shops in Funchal, the quality of the friendly customer service was exceptional and the staff were all excellent.
Very well presented good quality fittings and the staff were very friendly.
Additionally our room was great, best restaurants we ate in were Dom Amelias.

Very pleasant, good location, the fresh sea food at marina restaurants and an excellent hotel for friendly service and range of facilities. The staff are polite and helpful, the room is spacious and the bathroom very nice, great breakfasts to set you up for the day. The gardens are beautiful.

Good bus connections to east and west, Funchal town extremely clean. Well maintained site and rooms, beautiful settings, a very long way from home. Very friendly and helpful staff, this apartment, 4110, overlooked the very pleasant gardens.

The kitchenette was poorly equipped, breakfast was not up to the standard of the Grand.

The location was ideal the staff were very helpful, the quality of the friendly customer service was exceptional and the room we had was large. The kitchenette was fine, breakfast was included and was an extensive buffet that set us up very well for the day, the facilities were more than adequate.

Our lovely room had stunning views to the sea and one of the very best hotels weve stayed in. The staff were very friendly, the sofa bed was not in a good state of repair and just a ceiling fan, that we found adequate. The breakfasts were fantastic, indoor pool was great as the outdoor ones were a bit chilly.

Lovely pool area, superb stay and all very reasonable prices. Reception staff very friendly, comfortable rooms and well equipped kitchenette. Free towels are also provided in the gym/jacuzzi, food is good and there is plenty of choice, the gardens contain a range of beautiful tropical plants.

The rooms are well maintained and offer magnificent views in peaceful surroundings, the worst thing about the hotel las to be the cost of drinks in the bars, the staff speak good English and are all really helpful. The food and dining service is excellent.
