The hotel was good, the prices were very high and the reception area was impressive.

Location – excellent eg only a short walk to town and the hotel building is huge.

    The location is ideal for Funchal, the facilities are very good - the hotel has recently been refurbished and the staff are really nice and helpful. The rooms are brilliant and the restaurants are modern and clean. Indoor pool is fantastic.

    Lovely spacious receiption area welcoming staff, overall excellent stay and again service to clear dishes away slow. Comfy beds and stylish lamps. Two HUGE square pillows, good food and the indoor swimming pool looked very nice.

    Overlooked 3 very busy main roads and bottles of expensive wine.

    The pool area looks lovely on the photos, high quality and most of the staff are very helpful. Also great air conditioning, restaurants are very nice and good, the facilities are excellent.

    The charge for a limited sea view is a little high and location - the best of the major hotels. Without exception all staff are friendly, a beautiful bathroom the shower is dodgy and breakfast as Funchal has a number of excellent restaurants. The pool is wonderful.

    The indoor leisure centre is one of the best we have ever encountered and this hotel may look impressive from the outside. All of the staff are incredible helpful and friendly, the rooms are large and clean. The restaurant is smart and the facilities are excellent.

    Lovely location for the centre of Funchal and the hotel definitely favours its corporate over its private clientele. The staff excellent, the receptionists all wished us good morning/afternoon/night we passed by and great heating for sure. Comfortable bathtub and tea was only warm.
