Pentelikon Hotel Athens - 雅典

Although location wise for tourists it is probably a bit far from the main tourist sights.

The hotel is in a very nice location, but a little bit far from the city center.

It is small but very stylish with a large bed of a sort of 4 poster design but without the canopy on the top, large comfy chair, and chair and desk to work at.

The bathroom was as beautiful with a wall of frosted glass doors with a large shower behind one door and a toilet behind the other.

The rooms in the main hotel building are getting a little tired and in need of refurbishing, also quite small (as other reviewers observed, more modern rooms are available in the annex), but the beds are extremely comfortable.

Excellent location, heat of Athens to take some clean country air and rooms are small compared to same hotel level.

The bathroom area although it looked as if it was renovated a few years ago was in the same condition and the water pressure in the shower was nearly non existent.

Most of the public areas have been refurbished over the past two years: the bar and a new small gym last year and most recently the main restaurant/breakfast area.

The bar is cosy and homely (though some may say stuffy and badly lit) and the restaurant is very high quality if a little pricey.

The pool area is very nice, the Hotel Pentelikon is the perfect hotel for me and service by everyone is excellent.

There's also a great outdoor pool at the Pentelikon, and this would make an excellent base for a family to explore Athens - away from the city centre bustle, but within easy reach of everything.

Helpful and nice personnel, they clean the room twice a day.
