I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Austria and had a fantastic experience. the location of this hotel was perfect. It was not far from the lake, which allowed me to take wonderful walks and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Additionally, the hotel itself was well-maintained and had a charming atmosphere. I especially loved that some of the rooms had balconies, providing a lovely view of the surroundings. The staff were also attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. Lastly, the breakfast was delightful, with a variety of local fresh products and even freshly made pancakes. All in all, this hotel provided excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Everything was just fine, couldn't ask for more.

I stayed for about a week at the Waldkrieber b&b, and found the owners very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.The breakfast was very good with a wide choice including warm bread rolls and eggs cooked anyway you want, and decent coffee. The position of Waldkrieber between Hermagor and Villach is excellent for exploring the surrounding area, with Italy and Slovenia only about 20 mins away by car.

The room we stayed in was quite small and located at the back of the hotel without a balcony. there was no restaurant or bar on-site and the lack of a fridge in the room was a bit inconvenient.

This guesthouse offers a convenient location for exploring the beautiful natural surroundings.
