We wanted a central hotel at a reasonable price and that is exactly what we got!
If you are laid back and looking for value, comfort and a sensible breakfast then you'll like this hotel.
This is more of a hostel than a hotel and you certainly get what you pay for.
The location is awful - next to derelict looking shops.
Great location (right by the beach, very good value for money.
I liked the good location near the center of Porto and great value for the money.
You can get the metro direct from the airport to the metro station close to the hotel.
All the people were very kind with us, i recomended this hotel, i will come back, everything is near to the hotel, bus station, metro station, excellent.
The hotel staff where very friendly - room was spotless - two comfortable beds - good quality bedding - basic furnishings but in good condition.
I certainly couldn't complain about the breakfast as we only paid 53 euro's for 2 night's bed and breakfast!
Bathroom big and comfortable - hot water throughout the day.
The position is not bad and the cleanliness of the room the building is a bit old.
Reasonable rates, friendly staff and big bathroom.
Breakfast was continental - bread, cheese, croissants, jams, cereal, coffee, tea, juice basic but fresh and plenty off it.
The entrance is very 1970's/ 80's but it has lots of character and a funky retro bar area right next to reception.
The continental breakfast was adequate, with unlimited hot and cold drinks.
The choice of breakfast wasn't huge, but it was plentiful and we filled up on rolls, cheese, ham and cereal.
Oporto is a gorgeus city and so cheap for hotels , drinks , food and travel.
Staff fixed our tv within 5 mins nothing was to much trouble for them.
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, and took our bags in for us for a few hours before we could check in.
10 minutes of informing the reception it was replaced.
4*and then realize that they just wanted your money without offering you services?
They don't speak much english on reception but they are extremely helpful and will do their best to help.
There is no lift so expect to drag your bags up a few flights of stairs.
The bathroom was clean and tidy, but again would really benefit from some re-decoration.
The room was very clean, but tired and could do with re-decoration.
Breakfast room was clean , light and airy - well furnished.
The rooms are a bit threadbare but they are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
