  Excellent location and service, we arrived from Beijing on the amazing bullet train. The setting is just superbe and the breakfast in the lobby is lovely. Staff at the peninsula is very helpful and efficient, concierge deserves mention as a very knowledgeable and pleasant gent, rooms are spacious sparklingly clean almost looking brand new. The rooftop bar at night is spectacular, the pool is also a luxury too.

  Central location in Shanghai and very short and cheap cab rides to other tourist spots. Best hotel ive stayed at and the breakfast was served in the elegant lobby. The grand deluxe river suite was worth every penny, the service was also very good and the room ended up was nice. Bars were fantastic and bathtub was comfortable and walk in closets were huge.

  The location is very convenient as 's right by the Bund, the best hotel we have ever stayed at and the service is earnest and attentive. Bed is very comfortable and coffee was cold and the hot food in breakfast is not very appetizing. The gym is excellent.

  The bedroom/living area has complimentary fresh fruit, great hotel and would definitely come back, service is fantastic. Bed is just 100% luxury and the outside bar is excellent. The peninsula breakfast is also delicious each morning, pool and Spa are perfect as well.

  Good hotel, great service and huge plasma TV in the bedroom. Free voip international calls and super food. Fresh fruit replenished each day, especially in Shanghai many of the historic quarters were raised and pool provided a wonderful respite too.

  Free international calls, fantastic bathrooms and dinner and cocktails at Sir Elly´s Restaurant were unforgettable. The gym was great.
