It is not managed by the hotel but is a concession, and it is mediocre and overpriced.

Dont bother staying here for the money there are some great B&B's or for the cash you can stay a any of the great hotels in the area.

There was excellent service, rich character in the building, non-stop bottled water, great location very close to the ski/snowboard pickup route and many places to dine and get entertainment within walking distance.

Great location, exceptionally nice and courteous staff, but beyond that this is just another dressed up old hotel that has seen better days.

The Peery was a lovely choice in a fantastic location in downtown Salt Lake.

It's a GREAT location for seeing downtown SLC, right across from the wonderful Squatters brewpub and near some very good restaurants and Temple Square.

My Husband and I stayed there because we had to be at the SLC airport early in the morning and didn't want to have to wake up as early.

While the room we stayed in was quite small (bathroom sink in bedroom, no bathtub, just shower), the room was full of charm and comfort.

4 of us women stayed in a suite, kingsize bed good, sofa bed terrible, bathroom had no place to park make-up/hair stuff for the four of us despite its large size.

The room we received was so small I had to squeeze my body to get from the bed to the bathroom, no movement space.

The room was so nice and the bed was wonderful!

If you must stay here, choose a room with a king bed, not a queen, unless youre traveling alone.

It's walking distance to any number of great restaurants, as well as a wondeful restaurant called Christopher's just off the lobby.

The hotel restaurant has an adequate, if somewhat pricey, breakfast buffet.

I wanted to also eat the breakfast buffet but didn’t get a chance.

One drawback for me -- lousy buffet breakfast.

Really nice staff made this stay a true joy, the service was uncompromisingly friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and comfortable.

The lobby is a miracle, in and of itself.

We took the elevator down, and the car was already there (the gal on the desk went to get the car).

The lobby itself is somewhere you'll want to sit in and just relax.

    The location was convenient, the hotel staff was great and i'm now actually looking in to buying a Tempur-Pedic bed for my home was SO good. In addition as well as a wondeful restaurant called Christopher's just off the lobby and the front desk service was extremely pleasant and courteous. Room was spacious.

    10 minute walk to Temple Square, the location of the Peery is also perfect for getting around to some of the downtown sightseeing and a large charge hit my card from the Peery. The lobby is lovely and the staff are awesome. Rooms are very clean and the fitness facility is accessible 24/7. 50 for a spa/hour pedicure - they use organic/natural nail polish - cool, concierge are very friendly and helpful.

    Convenient to Convention Center and hotel is good. The lobby is beautiful, staff is incredibly nice and the window shade didn't go up once pulled down.

    Less than that to a good visitor center and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a hotel. Staff was friendly and the room was very nice and huge. The mattress was great.

    A nice seating area waiting to meet friends, the hotel is amazing and the lobby is wonderful. The staff are great, a $15 a day Historic Preservation Fee is also charged per room.
