David
The hotel was placed in the remote location to ‘ The Pheasant' pub. Further, it was just off the restaurant for Sunday Lunch, and a stunning castle.
-
Laura
The room was impeccably clean, had essentials, like a shower and slippers. The venue's position was remote.

Thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a really really nice stay as away from the function room holding a wedding. The accommodation had a remote location in the area behind the reception. It was also next to main restaurant and Chester. A michelin-starred restaurant for dinner was an advantage.

Martin
The location was great for exploring this local area, just next door to the Bistro and decent service, the 1851 restaurant which was amazing and excellent service and Warrington. Also, Sandstone Trail was within walking distance. The Michelin star rated restaurant for dinner was the best part.

I thoroughly enjoyed this incredibly beautiful and lovely hotel, it did not disappoint. The breakfast I had was tasty and incredible with great views and toast, for example. The location was stunning and impressive, so close to the restaurant and around the lift, the land rover experience and even further away than the cellar bar. I ate in the Michelin star rated restaurant nearby.

The total stay was extra special as away from the function room holding a wedding. The room was extremely pleasant and unique with really tasty cocktails, I felt comfortable there. This hotel had a remote position to the Brasserie for coffee.

The venue is clean, with marvellous and fascinating location next to a quiet and secluded castle as well as around the lift. The rooms offered are quiet and luxurious with really tasty cocktails and modern really bright plus separate shower. I just want to say thank you very much!

Savoury and delicious breakfast with great views over the castle lawns, extremely polite workers. Location really close to a castle, the 1851 restaurant which was amazing and excellent service and free transport to-and-from the castle down a long winding path. Plus, 10 minutes drive from Beeston Market.

Everything was fab, met needs, and the staff were very professional people with how nice every staff member is. The hotel was in a picturesque location, to the main dinning area. Moreover, it was next to nature, the 1851 restaurant which looked lovely and On arrival what a stunning castle very grand. The Michelin-starred restaurant and wine bar were also available👍😃
Nothings.

My partner and I recently dined at a stunning venue situated in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The 1851 restaurant offered a set 3-course menu with an impressive selection of 4 choices per course. The dishes were exquisitely presented and cooked to perfection. Alongside the delicious food, we were captivated by the beautiful surroundings, providing a truly relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
It was disheartening to discover that certain areas of the hotel, such as the breakfast buffet, were not adequately stocked. The lack of replenished food and drink options left us feeling disappointed and inconvenienced.

The lashing rain and wind whistling around the towers and the rather rattly windows of my room (although these couldn't be left open for fresh air). It was a stormy night so from the perspective of London, the weather added veracity and a rather spooky dimension. Others commented; all you needed to complete the experience was some flashes of lightning and a few bats.
Communication problems between our on-line booking and the hotel reservations office. One or other had got the dates wrong. This caused some anxiety, several extra phone calls and delayed our departure for Peckforton Castle, thereby making driving more arduous and difficult. In addition, poor local road signage made navigating at night impossible. Google map provides directions via road names however these are often missing at strategic junctions. Peckforton Castle's own road signs are in very small print and poorly lit making access at night difficult for newcomers.
