There was a good variety of foods for the entire family - Cereals, Muffins, Engllish muffins, Bagels, Yogurt, Fruit, and a "make-it-yourself" waffle station just to mention a few items.

The bed linens in both rooms were worn and blankets had cigarette burns, stains, etc.

The bathroom is pretty big in the king size room and the the room was pretty clean.

The tub didn't drain well and the room floor was a little dirty.

This hotel was older but had newer bathrooms, shower curtains, carpeting, beds, etc.

The pillows, blanket and bed was very soft and comfy.

Red Lobster restaurant and Marie Callendar's restaurants next door.

Rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts.

The breakfast was better than most continental breakfasts, mostly because it was always well stocked.

The breakfast was good and the pool was great.

The free continental breakfast is pretty good.

The hotel was full and the front desk staff was unable to move us.

The front desk staff was a little less helpful in helping us with local attractions.

Some of the front desk staff are clueless.

Above all else, what set the Pear Tree Inn apart is the service from the employees.

The desk clerk checked me into the wrong room and let me drag all my luggage into the lobby, to only tell me you can't get to that room (I could see it on the 2nd floor) without going around to the elevator.

Their are a few rooms off the lobby, but you can't get to them without going halfway around the property and using the elevator, walking past 10 or so rooms, back through a keyed door to the interior lobby.

The elevators were broken during our stay, but they called us at home before our trip to tell us and we said we'd stay there anyway.

Staff was very friendly and the the room was pretty clean.

The night cocktail reception was nice too, the room was clean.

The room carpeting was so clean you didn't even get your white socks dirty.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was VERY friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was very small, but it was clean and well maintained.
