Pear Tree Inn San Antonio Airport - 圣安东尼奥

Great location near the airport, our stay was excellent and bUILDING - was nice and tidy.

We picked Pear Tree b/c of the price and the location.

Dropped my rental car off at Thrifty and the Pear Tree shuttle came to the car rental location and picked me up which was nice.

What surprised me was how quiet it was even though it's in close proximity to the airport and there was a ton of freeway construction going on the next morning when I opened the curtains!

It's also literally right next to the airport, but I didn't have any noise complaints at all.

THE ROOMS - They are pretty roomy and our room had the mini-fridge and microwave.

The bed was reasonably comfortable, I wish it was a little softer but for a weekend it will suffice.

Room was generally clean but found two hairs in the bathroom.

It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge and microwave in our room but not all rooms come equipped with them.

The Pear Tree was ok for the price - older, not very comfortable beds, thin thin towels.

CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: The continental breakfast should tide you over ‘til lunch.

The breakfast was good (waffles, donuts, cereal, bagels etc) as well as the hot evening snacks (hot dogs, popcorn, chips, crackers, chili etc) and drinks (beer, wine and softdrinks.

There are a few restaurants close by and a short car ride will get you to many more restaurants.

CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST - This was the best thing about the hotel.

It gets packed (especially the waffle maker station)because everyone staying there eats the breakfast so expect a crowd.

The staff is pleasant, the maid didn't make up our room.

The staff is very courteous and helpful, air conditioning has digital controls is nice.

As we were there in the winter we didn't get to try the pool.

If you’re lounging by the pool or sitting at one of its tables, please note that when the lawn sprinklers come on you might get a little wet.

They have a shuttle bus that will even take you to the mall and pick you up.

The room isn't going to make you say "wow" when you first see it, but they are comfortable, clean and quiet.

Summary: Excellent customer service and our room was clean.

The staff was quite polite and helpful, room was generally clean.

The hotel staff was friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, the free breakfast was the basic.

The rooms were a bit small, and decor was out of the '80s, but they were clean and didn't smell like stale smoke.
