The Madonna of the Trails statue is just a block or so away, as is the old train station.
Otherwise, our room appeared clean and the dated bathroom (with tub) was quaint but worked fine.
If you need a firm bed or an ice machine, then this motel is not for you.
The floor was absolutely filthy, the toilet ran despite my trying to fix the flap, and there were no ""hot"" cups for the in-room coffee.
Don't even think of having your kid sleep on the floor in a blow-up bed.
I couldn't have complained about the room, as the managers were nice, but seemed to only speak Spanish.
The motel offered vending machine sweet rolls for breakfast.
There are several antique shops within a hundred yards-or-so from the motel.
The best motel in lamar, our room appeared clean and cheap soap.
