This motel has a great central location for getting around everywhere in Auckland and was just a short stroll away from Cornwall Park, which was really handy.
The location is great for getting around Auckland - nowhere is more than several minutes drive away, and there is a good access point to the motorway.
The rooms have only just been refurbished and look great - the manager was very helpful and always cheerful and the motel is in a reallly central location for getting around Auckland.

Near Cromwell Park, we were well back from the road so was quiet and that was easy to get to from the airport.
Large room, towels were not changed on one day and the receptionist was friendly.
Man at reception very helpful, they went out of their way to find more suitable rooms for our group at a very reasonable rate.
The staff were very friendly on arrival & very helpful, the room was very comfortable.
Also staff were friendly and room was cold had no heater to warm room.
The rooms were not up to standard for the price being charged.
Everybody was helpful and the service was excellent - including the cooked breakfast which was well cooked as well as being very reasonably priced.
The continental breakfast was simple but good value.
We thought it was a bit strange when the reservations were being made for our staff - the person answering the phone at the Motel strongly suggested booking with one of the online booking services (Wotif).
Everybody was really helpful, the housekeeping staff were polite, the manager was exceptional - the roms was SPOTLESS and everything was just a short distance away - it is a great location.
The people on reception couldn't be less enthusiastic.
The wireless broadband didn't work and the Motel didn't seem to care so long as the got to sell coupons to use it.
The room has just been "done up" so it was fresh and new and very clean - in fact i would go so far as to say it is the cleanest place we have stayed in during our trip to NZ.
If you want to stay in a place with an excellent location, good value for money, clean and tidy room and helpful (but not over-the-top) staff, then Parklane is a good choice.
Very friendly obliging staff, rooms clean and swimming pool beautiful.
The staff were extremely accomodating and helpful, the room has just been "done up" so was fresh and new.
