I keep coming back because it has everything I need - Wi-Fi, valet parking, a bar/lounge area, and more. The staff even helped with my heavy baggage. It's perfect for me. Coming back for Christmas!

You feel like you've been transported back to the good old days. The hotel is gently renovated, central location and our room was large, clean and very quiet. Breakfast was good and the staff very nice and helpful. A perfect stay at a fair price.

The location of the hotel very good. Everything in close proximity. Rooms very nice and comfortable furnished. Bathroom could be more modern. Instead of a bathtub a shower would be better.
Morning meal was very good, unfortunately we had to wait for supplies. Summit out, then no more scrambled eggs with bacon.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, situated in a lovely Art-Nouveau palace in the center of a pretty town. The hotel is surrounded by hills and mountains with waterfalls in abundance, providing beautiful views. The staff were lovely and very helpful, fulfilling our request for a room with a view and high floor to accommodate our family of three. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed to enhance our stay. The hotel also offers a range of services such as room service, car hire, and laundry, making our experience even more convenient and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I stayed at Parkhotel Du Sauvage for a family vacation, and our experience was excellent. The hotel's vintage decor adds a charming touch, with unique furniture and decorations throughout. The room we had was spacious, perfect for our family of four, and the view from our window was stunning, with cows grazing and waterfalls in the distance. The breakfast was delicious, and the high-quality coffee was the best I've had in Switzerland. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the train station, with a supermarket and great restaurants nearby. And for literature enthusiasts, the hotel's connection to Sherlock Holmes adds an extra special touch, with a museum right next door. our stay was fantastic, and we will definitely consider returning.
Would recommend this hotel.

Good central location in Meiringen. Very comfortable airy modern room with beautiful view across to the mountains. Staff were genuinely very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent - good choice, well set out with little labels stating what everything was. Scrambled egg, bacon and boiled eggs every morning for those wanting a hot breakfast. Hotel atmosphere was very easy going and relaxing. It was also quiet. The hotel had an excellent a la carte restaurant in the grounds for evening meals.
I thought the hotel was very expensive and therefore did not give value for money. However I wanted to do mountain walking in this area and because of its excellent central location I felt it was worth paying the amount charged. There was a mini-bar in the room which was advertised as one of the room's facilities. But it was not stocked and I always had to phone for drinks to fill it up. I had never been to a hotel before which did not stock its mini-bar and I found this mildly irritating. When I first arrived at the hotel I thought they had forgotten to stock up the mini-bar!

Spent Christmas at a charming hotel with beautiful grounds and cozy rooms. The location was perfect, with easy access to outdoor activities. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a variety of European dishes. We also enjoyed the local cuisine in the restaurant. Service was impeccable and staff were very helpful with recommendations.
The dinner service could be confusing for half board guests, with unclear instructions on where to eat and what was included in the meal. The waitstaff sometimes seemed unaware of dietary requirements and made errors with the meal orders.

A delightful Art Nouveau building which has been modernised so as to provide maximum comfort while retaining the feel of the Art Nouveau period. This, combined with the exceptionally helpful and friendly reception staff, ensured a pleasant and memorable stay.

The location is absolutely stunning, with the Sherlock Holmes museum right next door and the train station and supermarket within walking distance. The hotel itself is unbelievably beautiful, with a ski room in the basement and a cozy pub and nice restaurant on the premises. We loved how easy it was to explore the area, as everything was walkable, including the gondola, restaurants, and a lovely park.
