  i had my wedding at the park inn.on the 08/08/08 and we had a fantastic day from we arrived till we left.the staff were great.management were top class.thanks caroline and gerrard for a great day

  The experience here was warming and friendly. From the moment I entered the hotel we were greeted by the friendly staff. We went to Dundalk Stadium which is only a few minutes away by taxi and only cost us? The staff were very obliging in arranging taxis and advising us on where we can go for a night out and trips for the next day. They had a guy playing the piano on one of the nights in the bar and he was amazing. Each and everyone of the staff excelled at what they were doing. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean as was the rest of the hotel. The rounds are beautiful and food good but the main attraction to this hotel is the excellence of the staff and their friendliness to each guest.

• unforgetable stay

  me and another bunch of lads stayed in this hotel for a stag weekend! we came up from belfast and the hotel is first class, beautiful in all ways. we attended dundalk stadium and were given a extremely good rate. the food, staff and property itself was outstanding, never even knew the place existed as we had been up in dundalk before and stayed elsewhere. the receptionist also on arrival was stunning and extremely helpful and friendly. She was a northern girl but dont want to name her over this ! a few of us were a little disappointed she was not checking us out !! brilliant girl, and if anyone is goin up to the dog track i would highly recommend this hotel, cannot fault it at all. will be back

  The rooms are spotlessly clean and very spacious. The food on the whole has always been of very good quality, the breakfast however could do with being hotter. As for the reception staff, we have only ever found them to be exceptionally helpful and friendly. On our last visit, we were greeted by name by the receptionist, which was really lovely. The one thing I think visitors need to remember is that the hotel is out of the town, about 2 miles, on a road with no public transport, so a car is essential.

  If service is good enough to warrant a tip customers will pay it!

  It's an OK place but I have no time for hotels that levy a service charge.

  Reception very welcoming, friendly and helpful, (as were all the staff) nothing was a problem. We had some bar food on the 1st ev, very good. Full dinner in the restaurant the next evening, excellent and very relaxed, no rush. The restaurant manager was extremely good. Fantastic swimming pool, steam room, and jacuzzi. Great location (only 1 hour from Dublin or Belfast).

  Nice modern Hotel on outskirts of Dundalk, good leisure facility, good breakfast,they need to replace the toasters! I would say of the 84 rooms only a dozen taken i would put this down to the nonsense you have to go through as a business traveller to get a corporate rate,and a saving of €15 from what i paid, the normal rate already being expensive. They need to update the TV system they mention cable channels.

  No free Internet access did it for me they want €8 for a 1 hour connection yet if you stay at the other Radisson Hotels charging similar rates you get it for free!

  From arrival until we left everything was excellent, the staff, the food, and the suite we had was just excellent.

  The rooms are clean and modern, initially we stayed in a standard room but on enquiring about the possibility of an upgrade we were moved to a suite which was spacious and included a dining table plus sofas and a bigger bathroom compromising a cubicle shower and large corner bath. There are no mini bars in any rooms either standard or suites. The rooms come with the usual hair and body shampoo but thats the extent of your 'freebies' unless oyu do stay in a uite where you get a few small bottles of body lotion, a sewing kit and bathrobes! The restaurant is nice enough and vastly more choice is available than on the room service menu. If you want an alternative to the hotel for meals there are plenty - Sextons on the Castlebellingham road is nice as is the Fairways Hotel just before it and Jackies pub opposite.

  Whilst a minor point, it is one that is increasingly important given the current laws on flying with liquids in hand luggage, the liquid soap in the shower and by the sink is horrible, cheap and nasty stuff - bring your own! The leisure facilities are decent enough, a weights room and CV room along with a pool with jacuzzi and sauna / steam rooms - all free to use for guests.

  The website boasts great facilities and modern rooms. It has a nice restaurant, bar and leisure facilities and is surrounded by a fairly nice looking golf course. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is modern with granite worktops. The room is very clean except for the stink of smoke when I arrived. The hotel is just outside of town which was a €9 taxi charge in and out.

  It has this bland, minimalist and cold feeling in the rooms. It starts with the carpet which is actually branded "Park Inn" to the throw on the bed which is also branded "Park Inn". I personally find the tea and coffee station at the door of the toilet odd and unsanitary. There is no table in the room other than the dresser which only has one chair which is plastic and looks rather like a school classroom chair from the last 70's and 80's.
