So very helpful staff, easy check in. A nice size rooms with comfy beds and wake-up service. Savoury food, very good breakfast.

our recent romantic trip to kaarst was truly exceptional. mercure went above and beyond with their excellent service and spacious family room. the location was perfect with easy access to supermarkets and the town center. overall, an amazing experience that exceeded our expectations.

Too expensive Internet access, why don't set a lower price and increase usage? (Learn from nearby ikea!) It is not value to pay the same fee for one day as you pay at hone for a month!

Came here for 4 nights with my family members, had a fairly nice stay. It was in a top and quiet location close to closest Train station, Köln and 2 taxis to Dusseldorf International airport. A great selection of food for breakfast, which was tasty to satisfy everyone...

The location was quiet, in the center. Enjoyed the way our good sized and well renovated standard twin room with plenty of space etc was arranged.

I got the impression staff at reception is not well experienced. They do not know their own offers regarding the superior. I was also cvery disappointed from the restaurant. There was not really attention for guests.

Breakfast was outstanding, so much variety and choice. Staff very helpful, spoke good english. Spa facilities good, pool temperature was ok, not freezing as you often find, Wet and dry saunas. Good location to go between cities eg Monchengladbach, Dusseldorf, Cologne. All within 10-30 mins by car. The `economy' room would be considered luxury compared to some ive seen.

The spa area could be used by naturists, but swimwear had to be worn in the pool. The site of a few naked bodies, male and female walking around was a bit off putting, especially as children wanting to swim were embarrassed by it in my opinion.

Lovely bar and lounge for meetings and drinks, friendly staff, free WiFi and cable TV, beautiful furnishings, just perfect!

Who needs bars and restaurants nearby anyway? So overrated.

relaxing and pleasant hotel, very, very nice staff, thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent location really close to 2 taxis to dusseldorf international airport costing €100 in total, the train station, and city amenities. thanks to an excellent service i had a great stay. i had access to small parking, nice pool.

Friendly staff that makes you feel welcome 😊. The hotel is conveniently located in a spacious area with modern rooms.

We also had a blast trying out shooting, riding, sailing, windsurfing, and even kite flying. The hotel even offers cycling tours, walking paths, and the option to take a thrilling hot-air balloon ride or try water-skiing. Our family loved every minute of it!

My children wanted an outdoor playground for some extra outdoor fun.

This hotel is out of the city yet near to a small town centre which has a number of nice restaurants and shops. It is also near to the motorway and nice countryside. There is ample parking free of charge.

The housekeeping service is patchy and the cost for use of the internet extortionate.
