Park Central Hotel New York - 纽约

Excellent location for all sightseeing attractions, located between Central Park & Times Square.

The Park Central is centrally located and location is best.

The hotel's location is it's strong selling point as it is close to so many things (Carnegie Hall is one block up, Carnegie Deli and Stage Deli are one block away with other good restaurants nearby).

We went all over the place either by subway,Taxi ( if we were running late) or by foot & we covered everywhere from lower east side, tribeca, soho and ground zero without any problems.

Travel to airport: we took the hotels taxi service- nice plush car, comfortable ride, same price as ordinary cabs.

The room had a great queen size bed, a medium sized bathroom which was fine with plenty hot water, a safe in the room, a flat screen TV with pay per view movies (useful when jet lagged) and air conditioning.

We arrived at 2 PM on the day of our reservation and we were told that there were no rooms available with two beds until 4 PM so we could either check our bags and hang out or get a room with one bed and a roll away.

I booked a room with 2 Double beds in November 07 for Mar 08 in this Hotel, but when we arrived they had no rooms of that type available so we were put into a room with 1 King Bed, this would not work.

The bed was very comfortable, with nice linens; there was a flatscreen TV; the bathroom was small but the shower (in tub) was very nice, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

Nearby we found an excellent Irish Bar called Carney's and had a fantastic, value for money breakfast at 'la Parisienne' restaurant on 7th Ave.

There is a nice restaurant, bar and gift shop in the hotel, not to mention that Carngie and Stage Deli are next door.

I only ate at the hotel’s restaurant to redeem my complementary breakfast, and wouldn’t eat there again.

We don't used breakfast or dining in the hotel because there are lots of restaurant for breakfast, fastfood and dining.

I only ate in the restaurant once and that was for breakfast.

The staff on all levels were very friendly form the front desk to the service, the concierge was very helpful as were the porters and the room was fantastic.

The service (reception, concierge & room service) was efficient & friendly.

2) the elevators were very slow - 5 minute waits on our room floor, and lines for the elevators at the lobby, were common.

If I had a couple of slight niggles, they would be the lifts that seemed to take an age to arrive in the lobby (one was out of action for renovation) and the lack of a lobby scene.

The elevator situation is a little odd, we had to use one bank to go down and another bank of elevators to go up.

If you want wireless internet, it will cost $12 per day.

I booked this hotel through their own website, which states free high-speed internet is included.

We asked for more coffee which we got and the room was spotless with clean towels every time we returned later in the day.

The cleaner did a brilliant job, we always came back to a spotless room with new clean glasses, empty bins and shampoo refills a plenty.

Room was large by NYC standards, clean and fresh.

We had a double room on the 7th floor and found it clean, tidy and comfortable.

The rooms were ready as soon as we arrived and VERY CLEAN.
