Parco Dei Principi Hotel Sorrento - 索伦托

The hotel is situated a 20mins walk from the centre of Sorrento which I think is a positive - the location is peaceful and the hotel has its own beach and swimming cove at the base of the cliff which some of the de-luxe hotels in town do not.

Private beach, great location and the hotel has a truly interesting.

A private beach accessible by elevator, location on a cliff over the Golfo di Napoli is as perfect of view as you can get of anything anywhere in the world and professional stuff - a place to relax.

Long walk in to the centre of sorrento about 25 mins on foot, however their is a free shuttle bus in to town.

The laceration was to the child foot and required five stiches for a cut to the bone.

The room looks like a hospital , the bed sheets were stained with blood so we had to call the cleaners, the bathroom had some mold and the garbage was not emptied for 2 days.

All I wanted was a bed (near a bathroom) and some ginger ale and plain crackers.

The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice bathroom amenities.

It was designed to amplify noise, no carpeting, the beds and pillows are like wood, and the shower spits out less water than the toilet.

The rooms are not up to scratch, the TV and in-room facilities are bad.

We also had lunch at the beach-side bar/restaurant, which again , was brilliant (try the authentic neapolitan pizza!

Breakfast is a bit mediocre for a 5 star and the restaurant is expensive with limited choice.

As well as a pool, there is a lift that takes you through the cliff, on which the hotel sits, to a beach/man-made-bay area with more loungers and a bar/restaurant.

The bar/restaurant ambiance: Think "Love Boat.

The food in the restaurant was superb - we ate dinner in the hotel every night.

Reception and concierge staff were mixed ,some good, some arrogant and disinterested.

Scenic location, excellent service from a warm and friendly staff who speak english, beautiful grounds and decor, very reasonably priced.

When we arrived to the hotel we were initally very pleased with the gardens as we drove in and the reception area and staff.

The area was quiet, moved to another 'genuine' 4* hotel was brilliant and staff at front desk were helpful.

The area was quiet and serene, the room size was decent with OK decor, there was a pool and a private beach accessible by elevator.

The elevators were usually quick, breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the gardens were beautiful.

Near the kitchens the staff hang out of the window, breakfast on the terrace is fantastic and the pool are free.

Swags and tails the hotel may not be, but what you do get is comfortable, clean, cool and refreshing rooms in shades of blue and white, a welcome haven from the searing Italian sun.

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice.

Staff was extremely polite and helpful, the rooms were large and clean.

Staff helpful, clean rooms and free wireless.

Rooms were nice; they were spacious and clean.
