The location is secluded--a rental car is definitely needed--and very quiet.
Our reservation information, inexplicably, was at a different hotel location.
Has a great location for the southwest attractions of the island.
We loved the "off the beaten track" location - near some gorgeous beaches and 40 minutes from both Ponce and the West Coast of PR.
Take a pass on the food, and enjoy this beautiful location as a launching point for exploration of southwestern PR.
Our room (one king-size bed) was quite small, but very clean.
The guest room windows cannot be replaced, and they can't be opened either.
Furthermore the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.
Not much to do if you are looking for "entertainment" but great if you just need a bed for the night.
This gives the small rooms a cell-like quality, a shame given the nice and comfortable furnishings, modern bathroom, and efficient A/C.
We took the all inclusive package and the food was nice; acctually when you took breakfast they make your reservation for lunch,then at lunch they made your reservation for dinner so when you came you dont have to wait to long.
Guanica is no metropolis, but there are some restaurants (mostly fast food) and a grocery store within driving distance.
The food was so bad that we decided to eat our meals off premises.
In addition, the restaurant and its food were deplorable.
The restaurant is simple and small, the menu is lovely.
The staff was friendly, if a bit too laid-back, and we only encountered one problem--upon check-in they couldn't find our reservation.
The service was great and so was the food.
Also, remember that meals are supposed to be long and relaxing here so service is a little slower (and you have to ask for the check) but we had no problems.
This hotel is fine and everyone at the front desk very nice and friendly.
Over all good service, good food but i would not get the all inclusive small portions , might as well go out for food.
Various towns in, the pool area was sparkling clean and prices were better than Copa Marina.
The grounds were kept clean, but we were not able to use the pool.
The rooms were a little small but comfortable,also very clean.
Staff were friendly, rooms were very clean and the food was nice.
Nice looking hotel, all of the staff were quite friendly and the room itself was spotlessly clean.
Overall service was very good, the room was clean.
Staff was courteous and helpful, the bathroom was clean.
