the stay at this hotel in guanica was exceptional. the room was well-equipped and cozy, with a mini fridge and tv. the pool area was refreshing and surrounded by beautiful trees. the highlight was the wide porches with rocking chairs to enjoy the view or relax with a book. the staff was friendly and the dinner was delicious.

Quaint place. Very nice staff and we loved the location away from town. Situated on a bay with a wonderful sunrise view. We would return again on future trip.

Charming building! The room itself was adequate - comfortable and clean - but the hotel as a whole was absolutely charming and we really enjoyed walking the grounds... The warm buttery color, wide porticos, birds bathing in the fountain, the palms, view of the bay... Lovely. Our room was simply decorated but had high ceilings, a powerful ac unit, mini fridge, microwave, king-size bed, small table with two chairs, and a tv with the basic cable channels from home (tnt, usa, etc.). Short drive to the beach and Guanica State Forest (get the map from the front desk). Seafood at the restaurant onsite was very fresh.
I had a hot shower our first night, but there was no hot water the next morning. But we found this to be a common problem in pr... Only one of the four hotels where we stayed during our trip had reliable hot water.

The room was clean when upgraded with coffee as well as bathroom. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The location couldn't be more good and great to the lumunicent bay. And it was also very close to several very nice beaches and the restaurant and “ Playa Santa ” a beautiful Caribbean Sea Area.

Stunning, exceptionally nice location in the beautiful area. 10 min walk to the heart of Guanica. A microwave, a refrigerator, coffee and tea making equipment in the room and the big bed.

Nice exterior, average rooms with no real windows. Possible sea view from balcony but more like a mangrove lagoon. Small restaurant with relatively good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Limited time spent in hotel due to nearby nature exploration.

To begin with, the hotel did not have a bar. The restaurant does not serve alcohol either. We had to drive several miles to the closest restaurant to have a cold beer. We would have stayed here had we known that there was no alcohol.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were simple yet comfortable for the price we paid. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the room was not an issue. The hotel also had a small convenience store where we could buy basic necessities, which came in handy when we forgot bug spray. The food in the restaurant was delicious and family-friendly, with affordable prices. The historic architecture added to the charm of the hotel, and its central location allowed for easy exploration of nearby beaches. We also felt very safe and secure during our stay, and our granddaughter loved the playing facilities.

Super Staff on the front desk when arriving. The ensenada Bay is gorgeous and the hotel setting is fantastic.
The restaurant staff needs customer service training. The restaurant staff do not resemble the same professional level the front desk personnel has.Overall the food was good however the service needs to improve.
