Paradise Point Resort & Spa San Diego - 圣迭戈

This hotel is it's own island located in the best location you could ask for in San Diego.

The location is perfect, close to everything.

The location was great - close to Sea World, La Jolla and Old Town.

When our cab pulled up from the airport, the bell staff greeted us and loaded our luggage on a golf cart while directing us to check-in.

We ended up at Paradise Point when a security breach closed Terminal 2 at Lindbergh Airport.

It had a king bed, armoire with TV, couch with coffee table, breakfast table with four chairs, seperate room with a fridge and microwave, a large walk in closet, tub/toilet in seperate room, double sinks in seperate room.

The rooms were plenty big enough, with a king sized bed and a sofa in mum and dad's room and two queen sized beds and a smaller sofa in our room.

We had a 'Parlour Suite' which had a king size bed, a sofa queen, a small dining table and chairs, refrigerator, sink area, a vanity area with a wash basin and separate bathroom/toilet.

The walls in the rooms are paper thin, with many noises during the night coming from inside the room (the old refridgerator, old air conditioner, and old squeaky bed).

The furniture is in bad shape, the bed covers very suspicious, the bathrooms drab, the walls paper thin and we found tons of ants in the bathroom the next morning.

The two breakfasts we ate were very good and eating outside at the Barefoot Bar and Grill which overlooks the marina and the bay was very pleasant.

We ate at the Barefoot Bar and Grill every night and for breakfast one day- we found the prices to be reasonable and the food nice- eg $6.

The only down sides were the barefoot bar and grill where we had breakfast - the food was gross, we had poached eggs that were liquid.

The main restaurant was closed for a private function at dinner leaving the Barefoot Bar and Grill WOEFULLY understaffed for the other resort guests who were interested in eating on-site.

Maid and front desk staff were excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service, the friendliness of the hotel and spa staff, and with the rooms themselves.

Your room is likely to be in a little building far from the main lobby, spa, exercise room, pool, meeting rooms, and restaurants.

The very best health farms in England are nowhere near the prices they were charging and I did not use the gym either as I thought the price should be included in your stay as should the car parking.

They even had relaxing "spa age" music in the ladies restroom at the main swimming pool (nice touch).

We were also disappointed that there was no wireless internet available.

The most ridiculous thing was that there was no wireless internet (even motels have them!

Staff were very friendly rooms were very clean and the entire island was spotless from litter.

The room and ensuite were well proportioned and kept very clean and tidy by a housekeeping staff who dealt with any problems very quickly.

I would happily go back to Paradise Point, walk around the truly beautiful grounds, other than the lagoons area, maybe have a tropical drink in the bar, and then drive away to a fresh, clean room somewhere else in the San Diego area.

The maid came to clean the room as we were leaving for Sea World the next morning around 10 am.

My room was clean, the staff extremely pleasant and the pools were well utilized by us during our stay.
