Paradise Island Resort Nassau - 拿骚

The Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort is located in an excellent location.

The location was also great because it was so close to Nassau.

However, if you want a relaxing resort in a GREAT location with "decent" food for very little money, then this is the place for you!

Taxis are always readily available $27 to the airport.

One thing about the taxis to/from the airport, try asking the price of the ride before excepting a cabbie & should be about $26-$28, the northbound Paradise Island bridge is only $1 & our inbound cabbie paid for it.

The rooms were decent, ours did not smell, it was a normal clean room, that was actually pretty large, with a full length mirror, refrigerator, iron, blow dryer, king size bed chair and ottoman, and the balcony was a big plus.

5)ROOM- Basic room with safe to keep valuables untouched, refrigerator, internet modem so if u bring laptop, bed bathroom.

We arrived and again the room was wrong, booked a king bed and they had us setup for two full beds.

The bathroom in our room was covered in rust (on the door frame & toilet roll holder especially) and the rim of the bath was covered in grime - it was also the smallest bathroom I've ever seen.

The rooms (we had 2 adjoining rooms) were not what I would describe as clean, the windows were absolutely filthy, the bathroom needed to be scrubbed down and updated or at least to have the holes in the walls near the toilets filled in.

Food was good, ate in all restaurants and at the bar.

After a large breakfast we were quite happy to have a salad or soup in the dining room and the kids enjoyed eating the burgers, hot dogs, philly steak, grouper sandwiches, conch fritters, chicken ceasar salad, fries at the pool bar.

Buffet style breakfast and lunch, with a bar that serves food all day also.

They put on a buffet style breakfast which was the only meal that we ate, the lunch was poolside burgers and chips that even the stray cats wouldnt eat!

The buffet restaurant was superb for breakfast and dinner and merely good for lunch.

The reality of a stay at this hotel: the staff could care less about the guests - front desk is completely indifferent as to whether you need service or if you enjoyed your stay.

To review: the food is decent but gets repetitive, the service is fine, the drinks are cheap, but the food service staff is nice, the rooms are bare essentials and the front desk staff couldn't care less about your comfort.

The restaurant staff was on the surly side, although everyone at the front desk was very nice, especially the manager, Clinton.

The Hotel itself was great, nice the front desk staff was and the room was always clean - no real complaints there.

You can find just about anything you want there; food, drink, pool, spa, gym, etc.

Grad city students - drunken slobs toatally oblivious to other hotel guests, sex in pool and anywhere else, flooded lobby area , broke the lift when sixteen got in(eight allowable!

The lobby was clean and the pool area is beautiful.

Room was clean and tidy, not fancy, but we didn't pay $$$$$$ either.

The rooms were clean and tidy, the food excellent, even for my fussy eaters!

The room was very clean and smelled fresh.

Furthermore staff was pleasant, bedroom was clean and the food was fresh.

Our room (1007) was nice, new, and clean.
