The cons: The 2-beds room has an odd layout so that there is a narrow passway to get to the bathroom, only about 2 feet of space in between one bed and the bathroom.
The fact that we were in a king room and had just one bath towel was forgiveable, but the condition of the bed sheets was not.
The space between the king bed and the wall/door to the bathroom was about 15 inches.
Turning on the bathroom light at night revealed numerous silverfish - probably because everytime we flushed the toilet, water showed up on the floor.
After one night we left some money for the cleaning staff along with a note asking that they change our sheets and leave us two big bath towels.
So, it seems the distribution of soap/shampoo is a little haphazard, but if you want to make sure you get some, leave cash for the cleaning staff.
Staff were friendly, free wireless Internet was intermittent at times.
We arrived, and they had forgotten our reservation, even though we confirmed twice with a credit card.
Bob, the manager, was particularly unhelpful, and changes his story more than once.
It looks like the owners might have been patching the concrete parking lot, as a small cement mixer occupied one corner near fresh concrete.
Free wireless, which we received better outside.
Very small redeeming attributes: -- Free wireless Internet was intermittent at times.
The room itself was pretty typical for a budget motel and was reasonably clean.
The rooms are somewhat clean, and it is close to the Maxx.
