  The location is great-just behind Palm Canyon drive so an easy walk to the eateries, etc. The pool was great for doing some real swimming-even a 9' deep end. The rooms are a little dated but why should that be a problem, they are clean and fully equipped. Staff was friendly and very helpful, parking was easy.

  We were treated by a professional staff. Our rooms were older but nice. Pool was wonderful and the Cabana bar was a nice touch. The location is amazing.

  The maids did not clean our room, so we had to call and request extra towels. And the people at the front desk were very nice -- which is definitely a plus.

  When we arrived, we could not get into the room because our lock was broken. It was 95 degrees outside, we had to park on the street and walk to the hotel and hike our stuff up the stairs in this heat, and then the key didn't work. I'm pregnant and sweating bullets and I had to call the hotel from my cell phone to get someone to let us in.

  The grounds were lovely, the rooms and breakfast ---.

  Although the grounds were nice & well-kept and the service was courteous/friendly, the rooms were just so-so, and disappointing from the pictures I had been shown on the Internet.

• 3/Bathroom was not in good condition with mould surrounding bath, and basin tap was loose.

  1/Inspite of e mail confirmation from Mike Christy dated 21 October we were not given a downstairs room on check in. 5/ Breakfast and bar areas were dark and gloomy.

  I checked the room throughly before bringing in the luggage. We had booked a king deluxe with a balcony overlooking the pool and thats just what we got. It was a huge room with windows with shutters on one side. The room had a small fridge, microwave, iron w/ board, hairdryer and coffee maker. There was nice furniture that included a desk with 2 chairs and a couch with a coffee table. Rooms have internet access (wireless was installed while we were there) and if you don't have a laptop, there is a computer for your use in the lobby.

  It looks to me that most of the rooms face the central courtyard with the pool and hot tub.

• Since the droppng the Holiday Inn franchise and totally renovating their rooms, pool terrace and public areas, this property is really a great value. Beautiful guest accommodations, sport bar and restaurant. Restaurants, shops, galleries and the "Fabulous Follies" at the Plaza Theater.

• The Hotel is in a great location central to Palm Canyon Drive. The room was large, clean and the pool area was impressive. The reception staff could have been a bit more friendly.

• Horrible, horrible service. Horrible Service and Comfort.

• Rooms are clean with good space (we had a king bed and two rollaways). The grounds are beautiful - winding trails between buildings with lush vegetation and flowers, hummingbirds, and a large heated pool with ample deck space. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the courtyard beside the adjacent restaurant (which was fine, pleasant staff, lots of space (including the lovely courtyard), and regular food). If you're a sports fan, the restaurant has a bar with lots of TVs and a huge big screen, plus pool tables and other arcade games. As a final bonus, complimentary interent access is offered in the lobby.
