Considering the insane price of breakfast in most of the hotels, this one was a great value served with elegance.
Elegant boutique hotel and the rates are unbelieveably reasonable.
Great location (in the heart of the medieval city, next to the cathedral), great deco and good service, but my room was quite small and very dark for a 5* hotel.
Great location for walking around the whole old city.
This hotel has the perfect location right in the Historic part of Toledo.
We didn't know what to expect but we were really happy with the hotel and the location.
But, being a former palace, it's got quite a bit of character and is just a couple of minutes from the Cathedral on a quiet back street (tell your cab driver to follow the signs or use his GPS).
Ordered double bed, when we pulled back the cover discovered the beds had been made up as twins.
Bathroom - was adequate but in the morning when we went to shower there was only one smallish, very hard bath towel allocated per person.
The guest room and the public areas were immaculately clean and beautifully designed.

The room was well appointed and mini bar beers were cheap.

On our first evening in Toledo, we dined at the hotel's restaurant and thought our food was excellent, though expensive.
The food and wine at the restaurant of the hotel were both outstanding!
This was served in a restaurant that was empty with a waiter who really did not want to be there, and a waitress who found it difficult to smile.
As far as breakfast is concerned, the menu allowed us to order anything we wanted.
It was clear that the front desk staff would rather chat amongst themselves than engage guest who were clearly lost and seeking assistance.
But, we had a mixup with a dinner reservation and it was the front desk's fault.
Great city, the hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff was more than helpful.
Very nice hotel, the rates are unbelieveably reasonable and the lobby is elegant.

It has it's own parking lot which is a huge plus in this town!
Location was great and free wi-fi was an added bonus that left us feeling extra good about.
