A great location in the old town behind the cathedral, loved the whole ambience of the hotel and staff is very helpful.

We had booked a standard suite (The Schubert) and it was superb - it was a good spacious room with a king size bed, with a large bathroom incorporating a large jacuzzi bath and a seperate walk in shower.
The rooms and suites (only 12) have been beautifuly designed as have the luxurious bathrooms.
Our room was Shubart and it was beautiful room with a whirpool, four poster bed and a balcony overlooking their tranquil little patio/garden.
Our room was large with a spacious jacuzzi bath and lovely furnishings.
Lunches and dinners available to order - excellent quality- in your room or one of the public rooms.
There is no restaurant but breakfast is served either from a well stocked buffet or cooked to order.
Splendid buffet breakfast + cooked dishes as extras.
Do not under any circumstances be tempted to eat at the Tapas Boveda or their neighbouring restaurant of the same name.
As the whole area is reasonably flat bicycling was great fun - consider hiring for the duration, a wonderful place to have your breakfast and beautifully restored old building in quiet part of busy city.
The rooftop patio has amazing views overlooking the cathedral and the one or two decently priced restaurants up the street from there - very popular.
Throughout the week, the service was personal and top-notch, with the staff being eager to help and serve at every opportunity, but without being intrusive.
The hotel was really impressive and the staff were wonderful.

Staying at the Palcio was agreat opportunity to enjoy the magnificent sights of a great city - hard on the legs, oh yes they even parked our rental car for us there was a charge for parking and building was nice.
They have even managed to shoe horn in the only indoor pool in the historic centre.
